Care

Wash by hand
Warm soapy water, a soft sponge, a good rinse. Dry it off properly before putting it away so moisture doesn't get trapped anywhere.

Skip the dishwasher
The heat inside a dishwasher is too much for PE and will warp the board out of shape. Not worth the risk. Two minutes at the sink and you're done.

Keep it away from heat
No open flames, no resting hot pans straight off the stove on top of it. PE handles knives brilliantly, but it's not built to take that kind of temperature. Use a trivet or a cooling rack instead.
