Mackerel is naturally rich, so it stands up well to a curry. José Gourmet pack the fillets in a creamy sauce made with curry powder, chilli, mustard and a little lemon juice. There's a gentle warmth to it rather than real heat, which leaves room for the fish to come through.

This one's basically lunch sorted. Heat it up and pile it onto rice with a spoonful of yoghurt and some sliced spring onion, or stuff it into a toasted wrap with shredded cabbage. It's good cold on a cracker too, if you can't be bothered warming anything.
