An update to the ubiquitous kitchen tongs, which often tear or break food, Stando is calibrated to feel like a delicate extension of your fingers. A curved stand in the middle gives a wide surface for grip and leans on the lip of pans, containers, bowls and handles, making it as useful as an everyday tool as it is for delicate plating.

Stando combines the long tapered profile of Japanese cooking chopsticks with the tension and precision of plating tweezers, comfortable from turning small veg in a pan to handling noodles and grilling. Each piece is stamped, etched and finished by hand at Mr. Ando's workshop.
